ABRA has been involved in the refurbishment of many well known buildings in North Staffordshire, many of which are landmarks in their own right.

In addition to the commercial/industrial aspect of the business, ABRA has carried out a great deal of work in the domestic private sector, which covers a broad spectrum from maintenance to house extensions, etc.

A continuing programme of training, mainly through local seminars, ensures that all Technical Staff are fully informed of new legislation and the latest building techniques.

In addition and equally importantly, ABRA directly employs its own local craftsmen in all Trades.

Abra Building Services Ltd., has its own internal Quality Assurance System.

Quality is achieved by employing direct labour for bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, drainage work, concreting and general labouring. We have our own joinery shop facility capable of producing purpose made items. We also employ gas fitters and plumbers, who are very well qualified in their own particular specialty.

The standard of each employee is known to both site and office management and allocated to the project according to the nature of the work involved.

For specialist trades, ABRA occasionally sub-contracts to tradesmen who have worked for ABRA for many years. All sub-contractors work is monitored keenly even though their standard of work is well known.

New sub-contractors are vetted extensively and several references are followed up before commencing work.

We employ an experienced buyer who monitors all material purchases for compliance with specification.
